01 suzuki esteem computer question

Hello fellow suzuki owners. As you all know these cars are great until you need parts or info. Could anyone tell me if a used computer from one 2001 suzuki esteem 1.8l AT will work on another suzuki esteem 1.8l AT. Or will the dealer have to reprogram the newly purchased computer before it will fuction.

Try calling Suzuki's customer service line they should be able to tell you what is compatible with what.

ECU from any 99-02 1.8l Esteem should work, but like Jim said it doesn't hurt to ask customer service.
