Default BALENO 97 1.8 ENGINE ISSUE - revolutions p.m.

I've been facing problems with my Baleno GTX 1.8 manual Wagon and would be very gratefull if any of you guys could help me out.
First, the engine was switching off when I stoped the car or when using the gears. I noticed something was wrong with the revolutions, as sometimes it was too high or too low. It was firing up and down withtou a touch on the accelerator.
Then I cleaned the throttle body and changed the air flow meter. I went well for a week. Now, what happens is that sometimes when I turn on the engine and when I switch gears 2-3, the revolutions just fire up to 2, 3 (sometimes even 4) thousand r. per minute. I can feel the engine is much better since I changed the air flow meter, but I'm afraid it will all happen again...
Any clue?
Thanks very much!!

Try changing the air filter.

Check the entire engine for loose vacuum hoses and/or vacuum hoses that are worn out and need to be replaced.

Test the fuel pressure at the fuel rail.

Try running a bottle of fuel injector cleaner through the gas tank.

Hi fellow, I'm sorry eglish is not my language.
Think your problem is in the idle air control valve (IACV). This shit happens when its spring gets weak. I had same problem in our garage with one ford escort. In fact it seems they have quite similar IACV, even I think they just had changed the logo from ford, and connecting jack.
I'm sure that you notice the location of IACV. In case you don't know it it's behind the throttle above the EGR valve.
You may try discconecting it, to be sure it;s not functioning properly. While discconected you won't have problem with 3x- 4x1000 rpm, but may be you'll have bad idle.
In my case I found one second hand IACV for 20 Euro, but this is in Bulgaria. So...
Good luck!
