What do you mean by "acts like it's about to start but won't." ?

Does the engine spin at all when you turn the key?

Unhappy Where is my horn?

Hi again, can anyone tell me where I can find the horn on my 96 Suzuki Esteem? When I hit the horn button all I hear is a click from the relay.

As far as you engine not starting goes...

Is the "Check Engine" light on?

Is there gas in the gas tank?

Look over the ENTIRE engine for loose connectors or something that has just come completely unplugged.

Relays do not typically go bad (although it does happen), check ALL of your fuses, there is a fuse block on the driver's side of the engine compartment and there is also a fuse block under the dash on the driver's side above the steering column, it is hard to find you will need a flash light.

The horn...

It is bolted to the radiator support near the front of the car, easiest way to test it is to run a wire from the battery to the horn and see if it goes off or not. If it does you have a wiring problem, if it doesn't the horn is dead.

Unhappy 96 Suzuki esteem GL won't start.

There is no check engine light on . There is gas in the tank however it is about two years old. I just recently purchased it and got a good deal for the car I'm just trying to get it to start. Thanks for helping me locate the horn.
