Question i need info for swap plz

i have a 1.8L esteem and i want too swap a 2.0L from aerio

my question is: it is bolt on or we have to change intake, exhaust, tranny ...and how can worth the 2L engines from japan or in junkyard

ty for help and if you have some web site for suzuki upgrade tell me

Personally I have no idea, I would call your local Suzuki dealer and ask someone in the Service Department that works on the engines.

Here is a check list I would go by to see if this is even worth doing (in no particular order):

1 - Exhaust, is the 1.8's exhaust going to be big enough or will it be a restriction?
2 - How are the power steering and air conditioning compressor brackets going to bolt to the new engine?
3 - Are the motor mounts even in the right place?
4 - Are the drive axles the same width, length, and splined the same way as the 1.8's?
5 - Are the engine computers compatible? If not what do you have to do to swap them?
6 - Will it pass emissions testing with the new engine?
7 - Will the front suspension handle the weight of the new engine?
8 - Are you going to upgrade the brakes to handle the extra horse power?

Just some things to think about...

thx for this information and i tooday i saw a suzuki dealer and he tell me some thing if the head gasket , manifound gasket and intake it's the same it will probably fit but for the brake i will buy some cross drill disk and carbon pad, for suspension no idea but i think i will try too know if coil of aerio can fit

if you have other comments just write it down
