Smile How to safely take off DRIVER /PASSENGER side door panel(siding) for greasing stuff

Hi guys! I have a 1998 ESTEEM 1.6 WAGON. As my title says, to safely take off... (to NOT damage the door panel/siding and their mounting clips). I realize a special tool would be best, but lacking this, what else can i use to at least minimize damage to the siding and clips? In fact, how do i go about removing the door panel(siding) so i can check why my electric windows in front have a hard time going up. Oh, how do i remove the DRIVER side switches so i can check the switches as well? Any help will be appreciated! Patrick

Any luck with this? I have the same car and when I bought it last year the windows had trouble rolling up, they were weak and slow.

My brother recommended shooting silicone spray into the door from the gap where the window comes out and that helped a lot.

So maybe give that a try before you tear your door apart?
