Hesitation & Timing...
There have been many posts on hesitation on take-off. I had struggled with this and even the dealer couldn't figure out after having the car for a month. They did suggest I find a specialty shop for japanese cars. Well I found one and my 98 Esteem is running great. It turns out the timing belt had jumped time. I was told there are 2 sets of markings when lining up the new belt. The markings to use are not the obvious ones. It didnt make much sense, and I had never heard of that before. Either way it is running great. The shop is Japanese Auto MAsters in Virginia BEach VA (757.468.1333)
