Rejoice! Took a chance and bought a repair cd from ebay. It's a Mitchell Shop guide. It was only $15 usd on ebay. If anyone wants specific info feel free to email me @ Collectorsauction@hotmail.com Put 'Suzuki' in the subject field. It's a whole new world of repair possibilities. Good fortune to all.

I bought one a while back and found it very limited, we had Mitchell in auto tech school and this CD is no where near the same amount of info.
My opinion >-> rip off. ><

If you have the 1999 Esteem I have a website that I run with a lot of basic repair info on it: http://home.comcast.net/~lj_robins/99suzuki/

Hallo,

It is not starting.
I get this in as is conditions, and I do not know history.
So far I did tested:
Timing marks are correct.
Compresion - about 120 (it looks like valves are OK)
Fuel pressure looks OK,
The injectors are receiving signal.
Spark? yes I have spark, but I think spark is about 180 degree off.
Scaning tool is not showing any error codes.
???????
I do not like position of "pickup points" for camshaft positioning sensor, but I do not know correct one.

Best regards
Marek
