I have had no major problems with my car, but I am wondering just how many more miles I could expect to have with this vehicle. It has been routinely maintained plus the brakes and CV joints. Have you heard of these cars getting over 200,000 miles on them? That is my goal, if not more!

I own a 1995 Baleno with 115000 kms, with no obvious problemw but i have met guys with more than 280000kms on theirs baleno's and they still going flawleesly. So if you calcute it in miles you 'll see that you still have long miles ahead with your car

Thank you very much for your reply! I am now up to 151,000 miles and still going strong! With the 280,000 kms figure, I STILL have at least 24,000 miles to go - wooooooooooooooooo hoooooooooooooooo

I have always liked smaller cars. My first car was a VW beatle - red with mag wheels - I was pretty kewl! hahahaha I drove larger vehicles, like vans, when I had children at home, but now that they are grown, I am back to driving a smaller car. I bought this '98 in September of '99 and it is just wonderful! The interior shows no signs of wear. I have a couple of "dings" on the outside, but nothing major. I want to keep my Suzuki Esteem going for years to come!

Sorry i know my question is not for this topic, but i see that is active right now so i'll make it. Has anyone noticed that if you drive it slowly round 1500 to 2800 rpm, when you push hard on the accelaration you dont get much, but if you go with the 2nd gear up to around 6000 - 6500 rpm, you get better accelaration even if you relax it when in 4th gear e.x?? Sometimes when in third it doesn't whant to go above 3500, unless i push it with second gear
