Hello again,

Here is my other question.

When I try to wash the rear window on my 98 GLX Wagon tailgate window, the washing fliud only drips weakly onto the rear window instead of spraying as it used to. The rear window washer is fed from the same resevoir as the windshield washers, so I suspect a blockage or kink somewhere between the resevoir and the nozzle. Anybody have an idea where that hose is routed?

Thanks

Brian

I've been having the same issue actually. It seems to be routed along the floor but i cant trace exactly where once the line enters the firewall

It is usually routed through the uni-body of the vehicle. Make sure the pump has enough power for the distance, and test the line at every join you have access to. If you figure out which section is bad, then you can disconnect the join, and attach a replacement length to it, make sure you have some extra length of the new just in case, and pull the new through with the old like fishing. Make sure it is joined securely as there are probably bends and exposed sharp edges inside the body channels. Don't pull too hard, and have someone feeding it through from the other end jiggling the line and such.

hi I had a similar problem on my baleno estate . It turned out the problem was the tubing ran alon the top of the tailgate, every time the tailgate was opened the tubing twisted .Eventually the tubing snapped. The tube could be accessed bu loosening one of the two rubber gaiters found at either side of the tailgate. I replaced the clear rigid tubing with a mor flexible rubberised version.Hope this has been of help
