Unhappy Disappointed

I've visited Toronto autoshow today, I've seen the Equator. And I'm disappointed! I was thinking of buying one, but not anymore.

Interior is very very poor! The plastic is cheap and scratchy and grey - just rubbish! The back seats are uncomfortable, they are too low, or the floor is too high, and they dont move - you wouldn't wanna spend more then 10 min back there. Competitors - Toyota and Honda are so much better and nicer places to be in.

I'm Suzuki fan myself, I have '06 Grand Vitara, and sitting in GV after sitting in Equator is like sitting in Mercedes after being in Lada.

I think this truck did not deserve to have "S" badge on it's grille.

If you need the truck for work purposes only - it could cut it, but as everyday car - not a chance!

Suzuki should really make their own cars like SX4, Grand Vitara, Swift in Europe!

Our dealership has yet to sel one as far as I know. not much interest as I'm told the Equator costs more than the Frontier lol.

If you drive the Equator you'll find it isn't too bad on the road and off. Sure the interior isn't what it should be, but it's not extremely bad either.

What do you mean they don't move?? They do lift up for room in the back in case you need to lay like a set of golf clubs or something in the back floor board.

We've sold 2 and I have one of the RMZ-4's sitting at the Suzuki motorcycle store down the road and they all love them. And of course it costs more.....Suzuki has a better warranty than the Frontier. Why wouldn't it cost more?

True. The problem with them in Canada is they are only available in one model (and it isn't the loaded model, only about half way). I think we can only get 3 color options too. White, silver and red or something like that.

The seats are fixed - they don't slide or recline. I want a truck that I could use in our 3hr trips to cottage, but you can't spend 3 hours on those back seats! I compared Equator with Toyota Tacoma and Honda Ridgeline. Toyota and Honda are more comfortable and Honda has more leg room. Equator's rear seats are for short trips only!

White, silver and black. Yes, only the 3 colours.
