That's right, an F10A is an engine and I want to put an electronic distributor on mine.
The 1985 and 1987 Suzuki Carry's must have lights and wipers in the Philippines and they are turned on with arms each side of the steering wheel, and this is the part I require also.
And as I have the 2 Carry's I would like, if possible, 2 of each (distributor and switch!)
Correct, but if you want a headlight switch asembly. I think You must Buy a steering colum that includes it. Wheeer AREEEE YOUUUUUU?\

Down here in Australia our switches are screwed on with 4 screws. We remove the steering wheel, remove the 4 screws at each corner of the large white switch with the 2 arms either side, disconnect 2 plugs (1 for the indicators and 1 for the wipers) and lift off steering column and hopefully replace.
The only issue I can see is that we are right hand drive, so I would prefer the indicator switch on the right. Although, if I had 2 (1 for each Carry, so I won't get confused. "Which one am I driving now?" Because I'll turn wipers on instead, and I hate that) then I won't mind having the indicator switch on the left.
Greetings!
Suzuki Carry's were ALL built for Japan. ALL were right hand drive before.
Turn signal on the right and washer on left. I turned mine around for left had drive as in PI.
If your Carry looks like the posted picture, It SHOULD not be a problem.
Look at the front, dint worry what is back of the wind screen!
NOW, how to pay? It will cost about P4000 to mail to AU.
I dont know what they will cost yet. I will inquire.
I forgot to mention, mine are more like the section behind the windscreen. Differences being. the wheel arches on mine are less attractive, almost square cuts. On mine the fuel filler is under the right hand drivers door, behind the wheel arch. And unfortunately, that front on your pic is sooo much cuter; the only one I would prefer is the Kombi look a like front.
Do you have F10A's with EFI and electronic ignition in the Philippines?
Do you know of any successful engine conversions? While truly believe that Suzuki lacked imagination naming it the Super Carry - I believe it should have been named the Super Sport van - I love the F10A and want to keep one original, but Australia is a very large country and I would love a more powerful, lower revving engine in my high roof model for travelling. I read somewhere on here about Toyota engines with Light Ace gear boxes - diffs?
But there was no mention of how.
I hope all of you and your loved ones in the natural disaster areas are safe and well. Karu
1. A Suzuki Carry is a PICK UP TRUCK.
2 A Suzuki EVERY is a VAN.
3. ALL PARTS THAT MATTER ARE THE SAME.
4. ALL here are F6 Engine.( only mention of a F10 is from 1980's)
5. The attached picture is a before shot of the white van.
(good sheet metal and a good painter can make it what you can think of)
AGAIN, Post a pick of your ride please!
