Default Suzuki Every with a Cadillac Look

Quote:
They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and it's the business of Japanese tuner DAMD to take a seemingly innocuous vehicle and have it emulate a machine that's clearly out of its league. In the past, they've transformed an Infiniti G35 into a baby Aston, and now they've taken a Suzuki Every Wagon and given it the grandest of aspirations. The DAMD Concept B Type 1 Every DA64W is dressed to the nines to look like a Cadillac Escalade. Really, the only exterior modification that's performed to this end is replacing the stock grille with a Cadillac knock-off, but combined with the stock Suzuki headlights that already look like they were lifted from the GM parts bin, the costume is effective. Of course, you're not a Caddy without chromed wheels, so DAMD added nine-spoke chrome rims along with some upgraded running boards and new rear bumper. The interior benefits from the addition of stitched leather seating and door trim, as well. The stock Suzuki Every Wagon looks like a stiff wind would send it into a series of roll overs, but somehow the addition of an Escalade grille gives it an attitude that was completely lacking before.

All i can say is "WOW" !!!
Elegance matched with comfort, practicality & stle.
That's what a SUZUKI is made for. Truly, imitation is the
sincerest form of flattery.

For better comparison, I attached some pics of my friend's
APV for us to clearly see the difference/similarity.

If you can post some pics on its interior, we will really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

That's really attractive. I love that van in your post. THe rear looks a bit like the current Chevrolet Malibu Maxx with that Chrome Bar.

Here is the link to the one I posted: Winding Road » Archive » Skee-Lo, Your Ride’s Here: DAMD’s Mini Escalade

Here are the interior and other shots:

Amazing!!! Interiors are as great as its outside appearance.
Saved them all in my folder. Thanks for sharing !!!

Whew, I missed the part " . . . taken from SUZUKI Wagon . ." I thought
it was from APV, LOL! I checked the site & I saw the EVERY Wagon's
original appearance. Very similar but the grilles are great for Caddys.

By the way, I really like the bulky design but are they as fast as
sedans? I think aerodynamics was not an issue in creating the wagon's
body; or was it built for comfy space inside?

i agree..the 3rd gen suzuki every was designed similarly to the wagon r, pero sila instead they focused on the design of the van instead of power like the wagon r has.

two words: ANG LUPIT!!!!

@bruce: di ba a/t yang apv ng friend mo? kaasar ang a/t...they get the advantage of having foglamps!

You're right, just called my friend this morning & he confirmed
that matics have some accessories that manuals don't, one of
them is the fog lamp then the door handles are chrome plated,
etc. But he mentioned that the A/T costs P100k more than the
M/T, it's fairly because of its accessories & perhaps the "feel"
of driving an A/T. Never drived one though but I'm more on the
sporty side so I guess the M/T suits me well. . .

If you have time please read my two(2) new threads on HP, weight,
speed & torque issues. Appreciate if you can reply.

Hey, last night (Sunday - 2/4/07) I watched Rated K and they
featured "Pinoy's gaya-gaya lang", there was this Chinoy guy
in Manila where he can follow whatever Car Design, from Volks
to sports car name it, he can do the body works (except for engine).

Yeah, it's "Atoy", very talented man, I hope nobody will not go after
him for some Design Patent case, hehe. . . BTW Clifford sounds familiar,
but i'm sure he's not the one whom I bought my minivan from, LOL
The Clifford i know is from Cebu.
