Arrow 2002 Suzuki Aerio SX -Fuel Pump Relay Location?

Hello,

I'm trying to find some diagrams to show me the relay for the fuel pump.

Does anyone have a diagram that they would be willing to scan, to show the location..?

I don't mean the relay/fuse panel box location on the driver's side front fender wall area, I mean within the panel box itself, which relay is the right one...?

Thanks!

Have a nice evening...

God Bless,
Ed

Hello lumpylarry,

I would say yes, thanks - -except it's small photo and I can't quite orient myself to what angle (view) - that is..?

I've not had the car too long, and I'm not really yet too familiar with the engine compartment layout.?

Is that on the 2002 Suzuki Aerio SX, trying to get a better thought as to were to look for that particular relay?

I'm not near my car, I had to leave it locked up and parked (broken down of course), overnight, about 20 miles away, (one-way.)

My 'game plan' is to get the researching done tonight and take the newly acquired information back to work on the car..

Thanks again, lumpylarry - Any chance of a bigger photo?

Have a nice evening...

God Bless,
Ed

Hello lumpylarry,

I'm thinking that the view to the extreme rear (right-hand side), is the strut mount tower, correct.?

I don't think my car relay/fuse panel box, has the five (5) relays as shown, but only four (4)? The line numbered 1 - is that pointing to the fuel pump relay?

Thanks!

God Bless,
Ed

So, could I technically, switch the relays, to another? What do the other relays feed, take care of?

I don't want to unplug a coolant fan sensor relay.

If for example, I could switch out temporarily a relay (from say the Air Conditioner / AC relay) temporarily for the fuel pump relay I would to get my car home...

Please let me know, asap..

Thanks!

God Bless,
Ed

Hello,

So then looks like C05 or C09 (are if I understand correctly) are: AC relays, right?

I have a 5 speed so there isn't any AT C04 relay in there on my car.

If the one labeled MAIN RELAY went bad, what would happen, sounds like it would stop ALL the other relays, from working, correct..?

(So it sounds that maybe that went bad....how to check..?)

Thanks for all your help....

God Bless,
Ed

The fuel pump relay should click on for about 5 seconds when you turn the ignition on then off..
If notmdoing that, try swapping out with ac relay..

What happened to the car to make you think it's a relay?

Hello lumpylarry,

When my car first time ever 'broke down' , wouldn't start:

The reason for the relay suspect, is only because, my brother-in-law was reading online about the relay may be the problem.

He simply pulled all relays (not knowing which was the fuel pump relay, as I didn't have your image then, to go by, as I do now, thanks again! - :-)), and re-seated them one by one, and it then started.

What makes the 'puzzle' more interesting and pointing towards the fuel pump relay, was a SECOND occurrence of the car not starting, and that day it had rained, not super hard, but steadily.

I popped the hood, wiggled every relay and then yes, the car re-started once again, and I have been driving it for (guesstimating, 2 weeks)..GUESS I'll start writing down on paper HOW LONG the car actually stays running for next time...

So, that's why I am thinking more, that it is the relay, and NOW, that I have the added information which relay is the fuel pump relay, I am trying to arrange a ride to my car (20 miles away, one-way) parked in a college area parking lot...

But, it's raining and the car's location is raining there too, with expected thunderstorms... I have to be extremely (extra) careful to not get water (rain) into that massive electrical system area....

Thanks again lumpylarry,

- - any other suggestions, tips, advice to help me get it running and home to do (if needed) MORE permanent fixing on it would be and is appreciated...

Have a nice day...

God Bless,
Ed
