Default PO401 EGR insufficient flow

AAmco just read the code for my '02 suzuki aerio's "service engine soon" light.

Will my car still pass smog with EGR insufficient flow? what can i fix? the O2 sensor?

your egr or tube might be dirty or clogged. this would cause bad flow. if it isn't that then you need to test the connection for faults.

the easy thing to do is to reset the code and see if it pops up again. If it does the egr is on the back right of the upper intake you cant miss it. there is a connection pluged in disconnect inspect and reset your computer. if its still a problem you can try cleaning or running the ohms on the egr. if thats the case i will give you the the limits.

yeah it could have been a one time thing thrown do to water or a lose connection. If it has come back after 250 mile then you are fine.
