2005 Liana misbehaving once a month

Hi.

I've got a 2005 Liana (1.6/4x4) which is acting up. About once a month it suddenly starts misfiring. The engine looses power and is barely capable of driving (first gear only if driving up hill).

When I pull over the engine keeps running at ~ 400 RPM. No warning light and nothing is logged. By the sounds coming the exhaust I guess fuel is being ignited in the exhaust system. Stopping/starting the engine usually fixes the problem right away.

The local Suzuki dealership seem to have no clue at all and is reluctant to even look at the car since it happens so seldom.

Any help or clues would be very much appreciated.

Check spark plugs & its wire.

One of the two coils was semi-defective. Measuring the resistance showed a clear difference.
