how to access serpentine belt

I have a squeaky serpentine belt on my 03 Aerio, do I access this from the passenger side wheel well. It looks like I need to take off the wheel and water shield to access the tensioner. Anyone done this before>

yessir, I did my '03 several thousand miles ago.

you are correct about wheel well.
I also pulled pass side cover under engine.

I wasted 1/2 hr trying to do it from above b/4 the bulb in my head turned on.

I used a goodyear gatorback - nice belt
