k&n air filter

Just replaced the stock suzuki air filter in my aerio with the K&N air filter. Its supposed to last the life of the car. All u have to do is wash it with the special cleaner. So far I have noticed an improvement of gas mileage and maybe alittle more horsepower. I drove one full tank on the old filter then one full tank on the new K&N. Not a huge increase in mileage but noticeable maybe 2 more miles a gallon but thats 24 more miles a tank. So it will add up. Plus i will save on the 19.95 it costs every 10,000 miles for the stock filter. Just thought some might be interested in going this route. Since some of u are having problems with gas mileage or just wanna save money on filter costs. If anyone has already used this i am curious how they like it. Hope this helps some of u.

hi 06aeriodriver, can u tell me wht model of K&N filter u using, coz i 've asked the sales in autobarn, they've looked up the filter book and said . .. none of them suitable for 06 aerio, thanks

The part number is 33-2282 {This air filter fits the 2006 aerio sx. If it is the sedan model it might be a diffrent size im not sure.} most auto chains like pep boys, autobarn strauss,etc dont carry it in stock and some also have out dated books. If u dont feel like ordering it through them because i am sure they wont have it in stock goto Performance Parts Online for Cars and Trucks - Performance Center type the part number in there parts search and they should have it in stock. If u buy it let me know how u like it. I am very pleased with mine also it comes with a 1,000,000 mile warranty u just have to clean it with the special cleaner every so often but auto barn will have the cleaner.
