2006 aerio standard engine jerks

Does anyone know what would cause an engine to pull or jerk occassionally? It just recently started happening, but I would like an idea of what's going on before I take it to the shop. Typically around 30-45 mph (4th gear), it feels like one of the plugs or pistons isn't firing right and the call jerks forward.
Any ideas?

one question....did you washed your engine???

I had that same problem after washing my engine with a garden hose. One of the sparks was working flooded under water...

If not, what mil. does it have... maybe its time to change plugs

I agree, if you hire out your work, have the mechanic explain the problem & show you the part(s) in question.

Most reputable mechanics are happy to show you what's wrong.

My guess is that it's going to be electrically related - fuel would be more subtle, I'd think
