Unhappy 2006 Aerio Tire Wear

I bought my Aerio new and have 19,000 miles on it. When it had approximately 7,000 miles I started to notice some tire wear in the middle. Now they are completely bald, but just in the middle, has anyone else had this problem. I take it back to my dealer next week to have the tires checked. It also has been making a noise like I have a flat tire. Any good comments? Thank you.

My back tires wore out at 5,000 miles. When I rotated them at 7,500 as reconmended by Suzuki I saw the inside worn badly. I do not live near a Suzuki dealer so locating one was hard. I called the main Suzuki America number and was directed to one 300 miles away. Called them and was directed to one 190 miles away. So I called them and they did not know of any wear problem and to have my alignment checked. This was over a 4 month time frame and now the tires on the back were wearing badly. I found out that there was a factory problem with the rear alignment. So I called Suzuki America again (5th 0r 6th call by now) and was told they knew of the problem and had to have my Suzuki dealer look at my car. At this point I was given a dealer closer than 190 miles. Only 90 miles. I called them and explained the tire wear problem and asked they have 4 tires ready for replacement at the time of replacement. 2weeks later they called and said they were ready for me. I drove on bald tires to the service department. I spent 3 hours there only to be told they did not have tires on hand and were only going to replace the rear tires because I did not have any proof I had rotated the back to the front at 7,500. I did it myself. So I am a liar as far as Susuki is conserned. They suck!!!!!!

There is some alignment issues in the model which should be OK by '06 but a check isnot out of the equation.
However with on Middle of the tire wear you have your tires over inflated. Check you gage and inflate to the specs on the door.

My 2003 has 88,000 miles and is on it's 5th. set of tires. None of them last as long as they are supposed too and each set has been pro rated.

..... The only way that you'll have tyre wear in the middle is if you have the tyres over inflated.... any query re alignment would show tyre wear to one side of the tyre..... not in the middle...
