Default "canister air suction filter" ??? Help!

Hello,

I have a 2003 Aerio (the 4-door, not the hatchback), and it has about 58,000 miles on it.

I notice in the maintenance schedule that at 60,000 miles something called the "canister air suction filter" is supposed to be replaced. I want to know:

1) What the heck is this thing (i.e., what does it do?)

2) If anyone has replaced theres at a Suzuki dealership shop, how much has it cost?

3) Is it NECESSARY to replace this thing, i.e., what are the likely consequences of not doing so?

Thanks!

Default

Would not worry about it.

Can't recall if it is separate or if you had to change the Vent Valve or Canister.
