Gas mileage 03 Aerio

My Aerio has about 80,000 miles now and it is getting anywhere from 25-29 MPG. Iam wondering how this compares to other Aerio cars. And if you are getting better mileage what if anything have you done to your car ?
So far this car has only needed tires and front brake pads and i did put new plugs in about 20,000 miles ago.

I drive the hell out of my '02 Aerio SX and I get awful gas mileage.
Typically low 20s. I beat it hard every time and it never fails me.

Anywhere from 20 mpg (local) to 31 mpg (highway).
