Default tires size ?

hey guys i recently bought some nice rims to put on my aerio in late march/early april but i'm wondering about tires the size should be 195/55/15

does anyone know if it would be alright to use 195/60/15's ? or 195/65/15 's ?

-Rob

thanks

The factory 55 series leaves us with a limited selection of tires, especially under the $100/each mark.

I stepped up to the 195/60/15 size which double our selection locally. If I remember correctly the size difference is about an inch which throws the speedo off 2mph @ 70 which isn't bad. There is a slight rubbing on the rear of the front tire but only in a locked wheel turn and hitting bumps. Fuel mileage may have suffered slightly due to the increased roll resistance associated with a taller tire but not sure yet.

When this set wears out, I'll likely look for a 16" rim and tire to closer match the OEM height, but I saved nearly $250 by changing the size to the 60 series, so still happy with the decision.

The 65 series would definitely be TOO tall and would rub regularly. I believe a 50 series would work fine but of course it is shorter.
