Cabin Filter?

I have a 2003 Aerio and here lately it seems like the AC unit is not operating like it did when I bought. I have tried recharging the system and still the same thing. Is there an A/C Filteranywhere on the vehicle? I know my 2004 XL-7 has a cabin filter, didn't know if the aerio did as well.

The fan unit is behind the glove box, true. For the 2003 model, no cabin air filter exists. I've found a solid plastic wall where the cabin filter goes.

True enuff, on my '03, I think I can cut the 1"x6" blank on three sides & install a filter
Probably will measure - then go to auto parts & start opening boxes
