Default Instrument Panel on the DashBoard

i'm having problems with my "CLOCK and THERMOMETER" as well as my "MANUAL HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM"

When I turn on the lights on the Dashboard,
the lights on the "CLOCK and THERMOMETER" is OFF
and the "MANUAL HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM" is slowly getting dimmer as weeks pass

I looked on the Fuse compartment and it dosen't say anything on about replacing the fuse.
on the Fuse section on the user manual, page 13-3, Fuse#15 (15A) it says that it's the same for the RADIO DOME, I took the fuse out to check and it's fine.

I suspect it's the bulb behind the panel.

have you had this problem before?
Thanks.

i work at a suzuki dealer and have come across this once or twice, only the thermo and clock weren't lit up at all, the only thing we could do was replace the whole clock and thermo assembly

I have the same issue with the light for thermo and clock. Dealer mentioned that need to replace whole unit. Approx $130 CDN.

It is a pain with the light out at night on the time.

I have the same issue and have done extensive research on the subject. I have a good friend that owns a suzuki dealership and we contacted suzuki about this issue. Apparently it is a known issue, something with the power inverter for the light is known to blow out. Suzuki will huff and puff depending on the age and warranty status of the vehicle but if you push hard enough they will cover it. Supposedly they didnt start failing in mass quantity till just after they time required to start a recall. I just tore mine apart today to see if it was the bulb or inverter, its the inverter. (Actually the damn bulb is a christmas tree light lol) Seriously, it looks just like one, but apparently it works on a different voltage and amperage. With a lil research I was able to find out the specs and find a blue bulb that works in its place...nice little mod, once you have the parts it takes five minutes, a phillips head and a flathead. Good luck with replacements guys, its a pain in the ass sometimes.....
