03sx front left tire problem plz help

a few months ago i was coming off the freeway and i took one of those 20mph exits too fast and went right over the curb Shrugging
a few weeks later i started noticing a wierd noise coming from the front left tire( the tire that hit the curb the hardest) like a clanking noise when ever i go over a bump. on top of that every now and then the strearing wheel will suddenly twitch to left (nothing drastic) then a few moments latter it seems as if its correcting itsself and twitches back to the right and when that happens it makes the same clank sound
im guessing its my alignment but i dont know why its making the clanking sound. but then again im not a big car expert. do u guys think a simple alignment would solve this problem?
