Hey guys, im over at the forenza section of the forum so you probably havnt noticed me. Anyways my gf is looking for a new car and one of the cars she likes is the Aerio.

Id appreciate it if you told me how much OUT THE DOOR you got it for (w/ what rebates and if you traded something in, ect...), what year it is, what year and month you bought it, wagon or sedan, what options, trim level, A/T or M/T.... and anything else you think i might find usefull.

Thank you,
Danny

EDIT: Also any problems? if so what? whats the warranty anyways.. guessing its the same as the forenza. thanks again

I bought a 04 Aerio LS M/T a little over a year ago. It drives fine for the most part. I have recently noticed a noise problem near the front passanger side tire. I read somewhere that the shocks and strutts might be the cause and Suzuki replaced a couple of others for free on a couple of other people's cars. I love my Aerio. From the quick 2.3L engine, to the sporty 5 speed M/T, to the amazing look of the rear spoiler, the black microfiber seats, the 6-disc in-dash CD player, the leather wrapped steering and shifter, the extremely roomy interior, the huge trunk, the 15" alloy rims that came stock, the amazingly accurate cruise control, the digital dash board, the nicer looking exhaust system, the great 3 year bumper to bumper, 7 year/ 100,000 mile power train warranty.... there is just so much great stuff to say about this car. I have about 17,000 miles on my car already, and am looking foreward to owning and driving it for many years to come. I paid about $14,399 after $1,000 in rebates, but after my negative balance on a '00 Explorer sport and tax, title, liscense and all, I ended up financing $20,000. I have pretty bad credit too, though. Do yourself a favor and go check out an Aerio that you think looks nice. Test drive it, and then post back and describe what YOU liked and disliked. I'm pretty sure you won't have too many negative things to say about it. Good Luck!!!

I bought my Aerio SX 04 Auto for $14,500 with all the rabates no trade. Rabates were $500 back to summer, $1000 from Suzuki, and I bought it at the end of the month when the dealership needed to sale their cars to keep up with their quota. wink wink best time to buy is the end of the month you'll get yourself a good deal. The advised price for this Aerio SX was around 17k I put down 5k and my monthly payments are now under $200 bucks. Insurence is cheap for the Aerio also this was one of the real reasons I bought this car.

I paid $9,000 for my 04 Sedan in Feb 04...it was the loss leader for that weekend, and when I saw the ad in Thursday's paper, I went straight down and nabbed it.

That being said, I wish I hadn't bought this car. I had a bad experience with the warrenty, and wish I had rebuilt the motor in my Ranger p/u instead...

I guess the moral of the story is that I should buy a Hyundai or Kia instead...
