Thanks for the info..I do have a few questions.......do you know where I can find that TBS and/or do you know when it was issued???? I did have my Visco coupling replaced in July , 2007. Does the visco coupling have anything to do with the rear toe adjustment?????????

bulletin AS07-04 was issued mar. 13 '06. i tried to copy & paste but wouldn't let me.. still new at this. the couplers were replaced more for a noise/vibration concern but i feel they didn't help much. i think its just a characteristic of that vehicle. all the AWD aerios have some vibration more noticable @60-70kph (or 40-45mph?? i guess) but that has no affect on rear toe angle.

if you do get an alignment done make sure the alignment shop has the updated specs. its rear toe = in 2.6mm +/- 2mm or .102 +/- .079"
good luck

If you have Yokohama Geolanders that's your prob. I went through 2 sets of those on a 2006 Aerio each about 12000 miles. I went up a size in height in a Michelin. They cost more but work it. you will get twice , three times the mileage.

Original Yokohoma Geolander tires wore out at 18000 miles on my 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara. Dealer said this was common with Yokohoma tires but I think it is a problem with the car.
Any reports of safety problems on this car from National Highway Safety commission?
I see on this forum many reports of excessive tire wear on Suzuki Grand Vitara.

Buy you a set of Michelins. If they start wearing on one side or your car is pulling to one side have a front end alignment. In my case a 4 wheel alignment. Mine wasn't the car it was the shoddy tire. I got 50000 on a set of Michelins and my driving would be considered spirited.
