Hi all, I have just bought our first Suzuki a 1998 Grand Vitara and there seems to be a loud clanking noise coming from the rear. The vehicle was sold as seen so I have no comeback but the service history is all Suzuki.

On Driving a clanking noise come from the rear, Exhaust is fine etc any ideas on what it could be so I can be ahead of the garage tomorrow.

Thanks

Trevor

When does it clank? When braking? Heavy braking? During cornering? During acceleration? While coasting?
