Default rim size

Finally looking at new rims to replace the god awful ones the reno comes with. Should I go 16 or 17? A buddy of mine told me I could potentially avoid having to lower the car if i got the right profile rim and tire and slapped the reno lacetti lip kit on it. Thoughts?

Bigger wheels make the wheel well gap appear bigger. The bigger wheel you go the bigger the gap works. If you get bigger tires there is more weight on the outside so more performance is lost. Also the whole car will be raised, so adding the lip kit will just balance things out.

I'd get the lowering springs and lip kit. That would look so incredible. The lip kits are amazing though. It'll be allot better all around to get the right size tires and lowering springs.
