Default offset advice

Found some nice wheels for my Forenza-5zigen pro racers- 17's which will go on 215/40/17. But they only have an offset of +25 for the 4/114. Will this offset work on the Forenza? I would also like to eventually drop my car 1.5 in. Thanks for any advice!

+25 is too low, i believe.

Last time i remember Forenza has +35 to +45 offset, default at 42; quite conservative.

Which pro racer are you looking at? I'm assuming the GN+ but I don't see that size/offset. Are you sure your not looking at 8" wide?...I just realized you didn't say, 7.5" is the biggest you should really good unless you wanna track it.

You should take a look at the Fno1r-C wheel, it looks similiar to most of the pro racers (there are a few different models) except it's 5 slightly thinner spokes, they cost allot less, and they weight less. The Fno1r-C is the best bang for the buck per weight and they look great

It's the zr 520's 17x7 and 17x8. I'm not sure of the meaning of the offset. Would a 25+ offset affect driveability or would they stick out too far?
