The front end is done! me and my dad had a hell of a time gettin the freakin screws out that hold the rotor to the wheel hub. We had to use liquid wrench grab it a regular drill bit and a torch to get those lil bastards out! We didnt attempt the rear till we get the flat head screws for those. Thats gonna wait till next weekend. Thanks Suzuki for making it hell and hot water for doing brakes! Here are pics of the fronts with the calipers painted black.

i would have gotten the rotors cryo-treated before installing them. they would last a lot longer. i guess they won't wear too bad under normal driving, but there's a risk of cracking the drilled rotors when you're doing heavy braking.

i read an article of a guy that bought a set of rotors liek that and they cracked within a few thousand miles(mixed autocross and regular driving). he bought a second set of the same exact rotors and had them cryo'd. the cryo'd rotors lasted almost 3 times as long as the first set

that's exactly what i was gonna say. drilled rotors aren't to worth it if you're tracking your car. very very vulnerable to cracking. i went with powerslots on my honda, and i never have any heating issues, therefore no need for cross-drilling. but they look nice.

Lifetime warranty on them. They warp or crack they automatically send another set. plus Im not doing anything real heavy when it come to braking just highway speeds. When I go out of town I might need to slow down from 120 once in a while. but basically 90 and under when braking. I wont give a full say on what i think till the back set are on. But so far they bite and the slots and the holes keep the dust off real well and keep the pads from gettin wet when in rain and snow now since we got like 5 inches in the last 4-5 hrs today.

the slots and holes help to get rid of gasses and to keep the brakes cool. brake co. are starting to dimple brakes instead of drilling them now so the dont crack. but for regular driving slotted and drilled should last forever. i had them on my honda for years

We tried to put the rear disks on last week but there almost a full 5 millimeters too big. They have been shipped back to brake planet at there expense and they have already shipped the right stuff at no cost to me. But we will see if the new set will fit.
