Hey guys. I just found this link a little while ago.

Suzuki 05-06 Reno SPC Performance Camber Kits

I'm planning to lower my 06 Reno next month with the APEX lowering springs. Do I want this, too?

For those of you whom have already lowered a reno or forenza, how did it go? I was planning on paying a friend $100 bucks to mount the springs for me. Then, I was going to go straight to a shop to get it realigned to factory specs.

Is it as simple as that? Can the factory assembly tolerate a 1.6" drop without special parts?

Also, I realize the car will settle a little as I drive it the first month or two. Do I have to get it aligned again after that?

Nah you don't need a camber kit, not unless you want more than factory specs...

I'm pretty sure a shop charged me a couple years ago under $250 to install my lowering springs, align it all, then told me I could come back for another align after a few k miles....I didn't come back and my tire wear seamed even. Though I went threw tires so fast them I'm not sure I would have been able to tell if they wore uneven.

if you're a noob, then get someone else to put them on for you, but as a friend, at least i wouldn't charge no 100 bucks. a shop is gonna charge you an arm and a leg. but if you ARENT a noob then just don't be lazy and do it yourself. its not that bad!

I'm not exactly a NOOB, but the last car I lowered I had done. I have vissions of the spring flying off and smashing someone in the face. Anway, what's $100 bucks to make sure it's done right?

The fact that its not lowered by much, and is more of a performance mod then an esthetic mod.
Your calibers can handle the adjustment
