Guys for those of you against 20's on our car here are some comparison pictures of my car with my other rim (on my honda) a 18" Helo with a 215/35 ZR18 tire and a (currently on the forenza) 20" ICW Racing wheel with 225/30 ZR20. Tell me what you think.
18's. they'll be lighter. you won't have clearance problems if you decide to put performance suspension on so it doesn't ride like a school bus. they look like they fit the car.
yeah the 20's look like they fit in that picture, but when your car is sitting higher because of the bigger wheels, it doesn't look right.
Thanks for the opinions. I'm really thinking about the 18's because with the 20's i can't have passenger in my car any bigger than my kids. I think i'll stick with the 20's for now (as stock) until i can get some lowering springs and drop it about 2/3 inches over the 18's. It just looks funny to me sitting so high up of the 18's. But then again they look nice on the honda because of the adjustable lowering springs I have on it and i dropped it like 3" all around, but i wouldn't mine putting the 20's back on it since it is my toy.

Apex springs with one coil cut should give you the drop you want. If your wheels are 7.5" or 7" wide then go with a +45 offset for best fitment. You may get a tad better with 2mm less or more but they dont even make anything like that. I have 7.5" wide with +45 and my cars dropped a good 3" without any rubbing. Also the aveo guys like cutting off one coil on lowering springs to get lower without bad ride quality.
yeah, coil-overs like i have on my honda. for road trips with lots of luggage i can adjust the back up so that when all weight is put in it will be at the ride height i want.
