So what's the difference between Shocks for the reno and shocks for some other car? Like a mazda, or something similar... Is it the way ours are mounted?

The size of the shock, the type of suspension used for the car, etc.

Well you know how tires have to be DOT approved? seat belts and seats have to be FIA approved?

Well I don't remember the exact details but in allot of Countrys things need to be approved by certain things like FIA or DOT in the states.

I'm not saying they are bad or anything, they seam great and probably are just as good as the apex springs. But I'd just put more trust in the apex springs for our cars then the Intrax.

I've read alot about cars and i've never ever seen the suspension or suspension parts that need to be "approved" for anything. Maybe for example i could understand if your thinking a car is lowered too much (CA) its illegal. I mean then again some parts are illegal because they dont pass CARB laws (CA again ;p). But how can suspension be illegal? I mean you have the KW varient 3's right well i dont see it "approved".

For one, I havn't seen anything about acar being lowered to much. Your problem there is ripping parts off and not being able to do speed bumps.

Yeah it is illegal if your car is lowered too much. It can't be lower then the lower part of your wheel. My friend recently went to a car meet and some guys g35 got towed away when the cops came because it was too low.
