#3 homey... I like #1 as well... But, I'm feeling the gunmetal... Close to what mine look like... #5??? Those are ugly... But you picked on weight... If they all weigh the same, I would go with #3...

Like I said in the first post, dont pick on colar. 2ndly I recently found out the SSR is going out of business so finding a replacment if and when I bend a wheel for #3 would be costly.

I think I'm going with #2 though, volk TE37

Been there, it sucks. $1200 for wheels and tires and less than 25,000 can't replace a bent one because it was discontinued.
Yeah, thats no fun. Just wait for other people to get in that situation and charge them an arm and leg for one of your wheels.

i like them all...no matter which ones you get, make sure you pay extra bucks to get better tires. i made the mistake of taking the cheap ass tires that came with the rims without upgrading and i am unsatisfied with the traction that i get in the rain.

Of course, I'm big on that. For the last two years I've been using tires that are barley street legal (ment for the track). I finally decided to get some cheaper tires, though they will still be very reliable

I was just sayin' ... You asked for opinions and that was mine ... If you are buying based on weight alone... It don't matter which ones you get... Pick the lightest ones! The gunmetal ones looked the best style wise to me... You could get them in pink and they would look better then the other ones homey... That's what I was sayin'... #2's are cool... Good choice...

I had 17's and 16's and the car felt clumsy. I put the stock 15's back on and put some Dunlop SP Sport fm901 tires on and it drives like a sports compact now. Not to hard or soft with good road feedback. I would stick with a set of 15x7 making the only change in how wide threy are.
It cost me 2g to learn that lesson.

Yeah, thats what I was going to do. Along with some slicks for the really important track days. But they dont have them in my bolt pattern in 16x7.5, Only 16x7.. that extra 1/2" makes the difference I'll need.

I know wheels very well. The reason it felt clumsy is because they were heavyier.. or at least the same weight but since they were bigger the weight was more towards the outside.

Most people that go out and buy wheels and arnt conserned with weight end up wtih 19-30lbs wheels each depending on the size. I'm look at 16x7.5" (need 16" to clear the brakes) wheels in the 11-14lbs each range with little weight on the outside.

Currently I'm keeping my rota slipstreams 16x7 (13.2lbs) for the track and moving to some 17x7.5" wheels in the 15-18lbs range for the street with some skinny 205/40/17. I love the look of skinny tires on a wide wheel just as much as wide tires on a decent size wheel. But wider tires are very hard especialy with a 2-3" drop.
