After a month or so of looking I may have found a match for our suspension, more specfically the rear suspen as it is hard to even find a indpendent dual link suspension in North America. So far I have been only found two cars that have a independent dual link suspenion. They are the 2007 Toyota Camry and the 2005 Toyota MR2
Forenza/Reno Suspenion (All years):
* Independent MacPherson Strut Front Suspension With Gas Charged Shock Absorbers
* Independent Dual-Link Rear Suspension With Gas Charged Shock Absorbers
* Rear Stabilizer Bar
2007 Toyota Camry:
* Independent MacPherson Strut Front Suspension With Coil Springs and Shock Absorbers
* Independent Dual Link Rear Suspension With Coil Springs and Shock Absorbers
* 24.2-mm Front Stabilizer Bar
2005 Toyota MR2:
* Independent MacPherson Strut Front Suspension With L-Shaped Lower Control Arms and Replaceable Shock Absorber Cartridges
* Independent Dual Link Rear Suspension With Single Trailing Link and MacPherson Strut Type Shock Absorbers
* 15-mm Rear Stabilizer Bar
I am no expert on suspensions, but just from reading the describtions the Camry looks very close to our suspension. The only problem is that it is almost twice the size of our car and built on a totally different platforum so I have no idea if any shocks or struts for the Camry will fit our car. My mom has a 2001 Camry so I will take pictures of the rear suspenion and try and post them so you guys can see if there is even a chance or it is worth while fishing for more pictures and mesurements.
As far as my searching goes, I have knocked out all small cars that are in production and medium ones as well. I am going to start looking at older cars and once I finished that I will post what I find, if any and then start on the European cars. The only thing I found interesting with the cars in North America is that the Multi link rear suspenion was the most popular among the small to medium cars.
