Cops Gotta make their qouta!

Ok,

I got pulled over for excessive noise in my bloody Optra, and Optra with a CAI thats it! I drive a 70K Pt which makes a tone more noise and nothing happens.

Ok story goes like this,

I was on my way to work making a left light goes yellow so I punch the gas. The optra is a bit loud but nothing compared to my PT. I hit 60 and start cruising at that. I look in my rear view and see a nice white impala. Great I know whats coming next. I drive one more block and I see his cheries come on no sirens. Pull over and have my shit ready for him.

He looks me over tells me that I was loud as hell. And that he heard me for blocks away.

Funy a Harly with strait pipes is street legal and I can hear one of those for atleast a mile away but thats ok. He asks what I'm running on the car. I asked if he wanted a look under the hood.

"What your not going to hide your mods from me."
"All I got is an intake"
I pop the hood he tries wrenching on the thing to pull it off but it wouldn't budge. He did notice my breather filters claiming it ruins emissions. I explained to him that there is allot of oil and dirt the flows into the intake with the original piece there I was just trying to keep my thorttle body from jaming.

"That would explain all the dirt on the small filter. Still thats a $350 ticket. Wait in your car let me see what I can do about this."

I sit and wait and wait and wait. I waited for 15min then he told me his PC froz, aI wait another 15 still frozen PC after another 10 he comes back and tells me his PC is still frozen.

"look you were honest enough to tell me that you were late for work and poped your hood for me. here's a ticket for unnessary noise. Here is where you can pay the $110 and here is the number you can call if you want to fight it."

I take the ticket drive into work call my paralegal. A harley is louder heck my Pt screames pull me over pull me over but no I get naild with a 4dr grocery getter. Gues he was that desperate to get his quota.

is it a fixit ticket? if so go to your nearest police station and ask them to come out and listen to the car. if its not loud theyll write it off. if its not go to court if the cop doesnt show you should win. if he does, show its a stock exhaust and tell them he never checked it with a decibal meter. i would think you should win either way

I think so as well. I called my paralegal up. When I told him that the car had a factory exhaust. He chuckled. So I think its safe to say that I'll get off. My brother suggested next time (as my plates are now with the OPP and 12th division yes I got stopped by a cop from that place) that I ask the cop to mail the ticket to my door. Either way I know that cop was pissed yesterday as he had nothing on me.

F cops 550 for neglagent drive in the 2nd cause i passed an idoit in mazda 3 who did not want to be passed and sped up. I drop it 2 gears and pass and the cop that was behind me before i tried to pass cut his lights on and pulled me BS

My GV has 2.5" pipe from the manifolds back into a 4" out can. It rattles my dash and ive never gotten a ticket

ive drivin past a cop doing around 80 mph in a 55 and he didn't do any thing. to the cops in hampton roads im in visible. they like the civics and sports cars more. in New Jersey i got pulled over doing 75 in a 40, the cop looked at my millitary ID and said slow down and have a nice night.

Id Like to see you try that in Northern VA 80mph 55mph is a ticket all day. I used to live in FLA and could speed and have illegal tints never got pulled over till i moved to Northern VA got 3 speeding tickets in 3years
