i got to 125 in my 04 forenza with a 5spd man and stock tires. i made it from the carrier piers on naval station norfolk to naval weapon station yorktown base housing in 15 minutes, would have been quicker but i didn't speed on base and had to slow down for the hampton roads bridge tunnel, i didn't want to catch air and crash. it is a 35 mile drive with about 5 of it base and tunnel.

oh and there was no telling i was going that fast, no vibration or swaying, nothing, felt like i was going normal speed, except that things were going by a lot faster. the only reason i was going that fast (it was late at night too so no traffic) was i was on duty on the ship and some one broke out 2 windows at my apartment and my (at the time) pregnant wife was home alone. the cops were called first and i was on a carrier and i got there first by like 45 minutes
