Personaly I'd take the Evo over the neon now this is coming from a Mopar guy so I might get shot for saying this lol. While the SRT4 has some seriouse power and if you know what your doing you can easily break 400hp its got a few week points. Umm a car with that much power making close to 300hp bang for the buck but not all wheal drive. Give me the Evo just import it please.

I am still not able to decide between the Evo or the STI, there are just so many good reason to buy both that it makes it very hard... But between the Evo and a SRT4... Please the evo wins by miles. For one AWD over FF, two it's an evo... You're a B.A. just for owning one... Three an SRT4 is still just an Neon with a better engine...

Having driven an SRT-4 for an extended period of time and raced both the EVO and STI, I'd take the SRT any day. Granted as a few of you have said, it does have its week points but all cars do. The one we were running was MOPAR stage 2, aftermarket wastegate, and 3 inch dumped with no cats. Tuned it to about 20-25 psi on the turbo, even though dodge said the intercooler piping wouldn't take it. We put it up against porsche and maserati's on a regular basis.

The EVO and STI were no challenge for it. The EVO ended up about 10 car lengths behind, and that was using a variable distribution controller for the AWD. The Porsches and Maserati's gave it a run for its money, but it still ran side by side with them.
