Default My city has a new cop car.

On my way home from school today I saw a Dodge Charger cop car fully painted and had all the cop car stuff as well. I was hoping it was a test car, but when I drove past it (it was going in the opposite direction), it had my city seal as well as everything you see on and in a cop car. So now my city has a much faster better looking cop car that I have to look out for.

I know there where talks about the Charger replacing the old vics a lot of cops use. But I didn't think any city actually bought one. I now wonder how many of these Chargers my city has as I sure hell can't out run a Charger.

ah yes the police charger. we've had them in ny for some time. there black and white they look prety slick, i think all black with white doors. some of the regular precincts are getting them in small quantities, but there all over the highways.

On our open highways, we have Camero's (the last production models not the new one that is coming), that are driven by highway patrol. I ma trying to remember if the car I saw had the same paint layout or not. I know the door was white and the hood and trunk was black. I don't know about the roof, besides it had those LCD lights which I hate as they are hard to spot. If I see it again I will check out the roof and see what color they are.

OBVIOUSLY they're following the trend from Transformers.

My friend tells me that in Texas, they have them cop cars fully black, and dark grey outlines of their tag on the side, with their sirens inside the car, so theres no telling who's a cop, and it's virtually impossible to scan for them from a far distance.. Scary to drive there ;_;

I know my city has at least one undercover car as I saw it on the side of the road where it had pulled over a car.

Irvine has their cop cars all white with LCD lights and they have I believe Ford SUVs as well. So its just as hard to look for Irvine PD. Which is one of the reasons I don't like going to Irvine.

Had the Charger cops in Toronto now for at least a year. But they're rare..... I see maybe one charger for every 50+ normal cop cars.
