the best intake for our car is the bms intake hands down. it was extensivly reaserched by bms and rigerously tested the material and design were carfully though out. do a search dean from bms posts on hear sometimes and this has been discused before. you could use any intake that had the right anlge from the engine to the wheel well then just get a 90 degree ebow to make it turn down to the throttle body
It was most probably was a single cam. I have only raced one civic that I know for sure was a dual with VTEC. I lost to it by 2 and half car lengths from a rolling start. It was an early hatch, most probably an early Si hatch. I know it had a cat back and was lowered, besides that I have no idea what mods it had. I have CAI, cat back, and lowering springs. I do want to race other VTEC honoda's, but I don't see them that much anymore and most of the time they don't want to race.
Either way a forenza looks beter than a hatch AnydaY!

there no ,none turbo or over the top, honda i have seen beat a forenza, or at least manual.
they need more of an envestment to beat us stock let alone worked up.

Not sure where you live to have seen a forenza beat a turbo civic, but maybe you should look up the specs on a stock single cam VTEC civic, a 92-95 coupe weighs less than our forenza and its got right at the same horsepower. we have more torque naturally, having more displacement.
we actually need more of an investment on our forenza's since the aftermarket support is no where near as large as it is for a civic.
But i'd say stock for stock its a driver's race. There's no way a forenza w/ just basic bolt ons would beat a turbo'd civic.
