Unknown car.

I was on the freeway and I spoted what looked like a 240SX with a loud ass exhaust. It sounded like it had some major N/A mods on it, and looked like it as well. I was able to get up to it and it turns out its a right hand drive car. There was no badge on the car and nothing to indicate what the car was, but it looked like a 240SX somewhat.

Any way we where doing cat and mouse on the freeway then got off. We went on a major street/freeway (the street is part freeway part steet), and at first the guy did not want to go at it but finally he came up to me and we went at it.

I had my car in the hold mode and by then I was in 3rd gear. Once he was even with me I gunned and so did he. At first he grabed half a car length on me and then I pulled past him and then that was it. As I just blew past him. It seemed he tried to catch up as I can hear his exhaust and it sounded like he was gassing it, but I never saw his car even come next to mine after that.

I thought the guy was going to beat me with an imported car from Japan, but either he was not trying and wanted to see how fast my car can go, or he was actually trying and I beat him. If that was the case my guess is that my car has less weight than his and he was not pushing no more than 200hp. But like I said before the car looked like a 240SX, but I was not sure.

He actually said 240SX...not NSX, either of which I would love to own

Since it was a right-hand drive 240SX....it was probably a converted American 240SX....not a Japanese Silvia-but a stock 240SX has 155hp and is lighter than our car, and you said it seemed to be heavily modded. So you know what I say.....

Thanks. I did a search for images of the Silvia and it seem to match the looks of the car. So my guess it is a Japanese Siliva. I also quickly looked at Wikipedia as well and looking at the pictures my guess its the s14 verision of the car.

I forgot to mention the driver did gave me a wtf look as well. I guess he was not expecting a Suzuki of all vechiles to challenge him. THis only makes me want to check out the Swift even more when it comes over here, because there are a ton of mods for it and it is quick.

No kidding.
If I didn't like this car so much, I think I'd opt for a Swift in a couple years.

I know what an NSX looks like for one, two why the hell would I even atempt to race one? That car can kill my car stock. Also I have only seen like three NSX in all the years I have lived where I lived, so they are rare to say the least.

I bleieve the Swift is coming in 2009 or something and it may be a replacement for my car. And by then I would had my car for 4 years then.

Well When it comes I think I will just have to not only have my reno, but also the swift... It's too good of a car to pass up...
