soo all my friends have civics or crxs and i hang out with them at the local racing hangout here in asheville, and on our way back to their house there is this long stretch of road, sooo we decided to race em.(no police it was 3 in the morning thank god!) one of my friends has a a 94 civic 4 door with the d15, but the cams and pistons and tranny are from a b-16 si civic, the other was a gutted 88 civic with a jdm b-16 zc i think. well i lined up with the 88 and the 94 was behind both of us, we did a 40 roll, 3 beeps and took off, i had the 88 on take off but he soon passed me when we were about 80mph the 94 civic started to catch up . He finally caught me at 100 but at about 110 i had no problem passing him and slowly catching up to the 88, we all hit about 125 before letting off. it was fun. Im glad that uor cars can keep up with a b-16 civic top end
both of these cars were tuned by a honda tech that built a 620 hp civic hatch with a b20 motor. His name is wes. He is also going to be on the show pinks all out with his good friend j. goforth racing a crx soo look out for that....
