I think the radar gun was a fluke and even if so, couldnt he have just looked at his speedO... Obviously he is a dumbass. He had not yet said anything about what his speedO said.. just what the radar gun said.
I would like to agree with the idea that he was talking about kph not mph but in his first post he clearly stated 138mph... Also a factory freak is not going to give you 10-20 more mph top end speed and shave 2-3 seconds off of your 1/4 mile time. It is what it is...a STOCK Suzuki 2.0 4cyl, Be Proud of it or go buy something that actually will produce that type of power and #'s! In this car you can't really beat that many other cars but you sure can beat alot of other drivers.
wow a 140 mph stock Forenza.. wonder how fast it would go if you did some work to it???
in reality you would be happy to do 112...
I have gotten my Reno before I did anything to it to 120 MPH on a freeway. But it took a long as time to get there, and when I did the car was not handling it that well so I backed off.
Thats why the first thing I did was get the spoiler... after the new tires. Inproves handdeling notecably at those speeds. AKA, it dosn't feel like the rears about to fly off the road

With the APEX springs on my car its almost the opposite now. At low speeds or when I am not going above 40 the back is semi bouncey, but when I go 50 plus the car is more solid and the back does not bounce at all. I have yet to take the car 100 plus with the springs (most because I am getting close to needing new tires as there is bearly 1/4 left before I get to the little bump thingy that says I need new tires now). So I have no idea how the car will handle those speeds.

It still gets a bit sketchy around 120 and even 100 with strong winds...they do help a hell of alot though. The only other thing that helped my stability at high speeds was my HUGE wing...I noticed a bigger difference in stability at speed when I got my wing more so than when I already had the wing and got my coil-overs.
