What happened that night? did you get just a ticket? If so, then i seriously doubt it is a felony. Cops will not let someone committing a felony go. I think he was just trying to scare you that's all. Well, now that i think about it, it could be a class 6 felony, which, by all practical purposes is a glorified misdemeanor. I know this one guy who was stopped doing 120 in 35. He was taken to jail for the night, but he didn't have to go through the whole 6 month ordeal of trying to fight it, he saw the judge once, as if it were a ticket, and all he got was a misdemeanor. But i'm no lawyer, so i cannot say 100%
Really all I have to say is I was in Scottsdale. Got taken to jail... I sped up to 65mph as soon as it hit a 45mph zone. The cops claimed I was in a 40zone at the time and arrested me for criminal. We didnt fight it because I was able to take a class to get rid of it so it wasnt really worth it. Still wish I could have done something about those cops though. Three cars pulled me over, officers...all for a 16yr old doing 65mph...they even used my cell phone without my premissiont o call my parents. Blah, I was only a 1/4 mile to my house, it was midnight and I had a test first thing in the morning.

My grandma lives out neer scotsdale. Ever time we go out, she tells us to stay with in 4 mph of the speed limit
Like I said we have different cop problems. We don't get thrown in jail for just for speeding, just pulled over for it and let go and repeat as needed. But if Kinky drove in Irvine he would get pulled over for on the spot engine check. Now if he made his car real nice looking and drove around were we live I think most cops would leave him alone, but the Brea cops would most probably tag him tho and follow him for a bit.
I think you may need to read up on laws. I know your young but the faster you know them the better off you are.

hahahaha so true... i hate the irvine pd... they are all sooo bored and trying to make their big break by stoping the ricer clubs that race there. i am in irvine ALOT and i have to be really carful... its so hard to because there r so many kids there that think they r the shit and the streets r pretty wide open.

I seen them and raced some. Its pretty funny when some asian dude in a honda drops out of a race when some BMW drops in and I go at it with the BMW and the BMW doesn't know what my car is.
