Default Dam cops

In the two years I have owned my Reno I had never had a cop scoped me out single handed until today when I was going to school. This motocycle cop was turing left as my light was red and he flips a u almost right be hind me and then follows me for about 30 yards or so then goes bye bye. Ya my car is shinny as I got it washed, but beyond that there was no reason for him to do that.

Wow, well you all know how it is when you own a red car. Cops see red cars and pull them over more than others. You can have two other cars going the same speed limit or faster than you and still the cop pics the red car over the blue or black car. Because of that, when you own a red car, insurance is higher. I dont know if its like that everywhere but it is out here. They say people who own red cars are more likely to get pulled than others. "People that have red cars tend to speed more...ect.." I think that is kinda bullshit but anyways. Point being...

I had a car before that and never got pulled over. The first week or two after i got this car i have now "red reno", I got pulled for speeding and the cop in the unmarked car followed me for a while before pulling me. Silly thing is, there was another car beside me going as fast if not faster and other cars passing me out.. but because my car was red.. he pulled me. Luckly he was nice not to give me a ticket but just a warning so yeah... be carefull...

Thats nothing!

I was at a redlight with two cops behind me. They were being cool but the kid in the mustang next to me reved at me..I shock my head knowing the cops were there. The stand chirpped the tires pretty badly and did full throttle to nearly 60mph in a 40mph zone...of course the cops took after him but as soon as they got infront of me a noticed my lights were blusih they slowed down and pulled me over.

Who's more dangers? A wreckless driving whos speeding or someone with slight blue? common!

It's not the only time things like this have happened either. I've been pulled over easily 30 times in 2.5years...and only gotten 2 tickets for speeding, and 3 fix it tickets for blue lights and cracked windshields.

I stick with the silverstars for that reason.
I know the cops have followed me a time or two, but with no body kit on my car, I looks like a wanna-be with nothing (Kinda how I like it *wink*) and they tend to ignore me for the Dropped civic with the angery eyes, and over the top spoiler and body kit with the showing bondo. I just make sure that the car next to me is very ricer. Hehehe
I think the lowest trick I did was downshifting so I slowed with no tail lights, making the guy next to mee look like he just drasticly sped up. Mwa hahahahaha

Melissa22 - That is one of the reasons why I stay away from bright colors for my car. But I find it odd that your insurance would go up for just the color of the car. My insurance company ask the color of my car, but that was more becuase the VIN was new and they wanted to know the color of the car for their info.

But when I get the springs from Kinky (Kinky I still need the tracking number to track that hot Canadain gilr that will bring me my springs ) and get them installed, I am going to be more careful as I know my car will stand out more.

Haha, yeah.. out here in Virginia if you have a red car, insurance is higher. I think it is just stuid if you ask me, people are going to speek no matter what and just because you have a red car doesnt mean you are going to break the law. Its almost like "race" thing..haha.

Not as much as you think Jurupa. The lowering is not as noticable. Did you get the camber bolts also?

Mel, you may have "look at me Officer Red" but I pitty those with "Pull me Over Yellow"
