lol its kinda funny...... The G35 and 350z are both $50k+ (CAD) cars, and even though Nissan rated their engines a higher HP, neither can beat my friend's $26k Altima 3.5S. Nissan claimed they detuned the VQ35 for the Altima (down to 240HP), but looks like they BS'ed because on the road the G and Z can't pull away. Its pretty funny to see the look on their faces when they paid double the $.....

ya dood my friend had to make the same decision.. he chose 350z track and is getting it twin turbo'ed.......... he chose it for 2 reasons 1. ability to be twin turbo'ed and 2. driftability (he drives for 'prestige racing')

True. But why the heck are you shopping for a 350? I thought you did not had the money to do what you wanted to do with your Forenza? Unless you got a bunch of money some place.

You also forgot that it also weights more due to the luxury items it has compared to the 350Z.

I like the G35 much better...but it doesnt come in convertible and is a bit more luxury than I'd want.

I was broke because I was going to buy a house...but since half the jobs I've had my whole life have been paid under the table and whatnot I dont have enough credit to move into a house and wont for about another year...so i deceided to go ahead and start shopping for another car. I'm buying a zuki gsx-r 600 first...then probably a 350z or s2k. The only thing that will keep me from getting another car is insurence...i havn't looked into it yet. If my parents wanna help me out by putting it int here name or something its for sure a go. Otherwise I may wait longer cuz a two seater convertible and 18year old doesnt do well with insurence.

One day I may twin turbo a 350z if I got it...but off the bat I'd wanna lower it and put intake/exhaust on it and then leave it alone for awhile untill after I get a house.

Dam kinky your like me, but younger. I am also saving up to get a house, but I have also had two legal jobs and I am getting credit from paying off my car, so that would work in my favor.

But any sports car would be bad for insurance reasons until you hit 25. You may want to get a Sicon Tc as I don't think that would hit your insurance that hard. And you still get a "sport" car.

Yeah, I even bought my car in cash cuz I hate payments...didn't think about it in the long run though. I got my first job before I was 13 so I was able to save up the money...was a little short for paying it off in one payment so my parents helped me out. Plus I didnt have a job when I bought the car so payments were kinda outta the question. The only time I've had a job that didn't pay under the table was before I was 16, and legally you can only work so many hours so half my pay was under the table. lol

Screw that... that'd be like getting a 2 door version of my car with a bit different styling...no fun. I want a two seater convertible...well wouldnt mind 4 seater cuz insurence would be cheaper but the only ones I like are the more expensive BMWs which I can't afford. I drive my moms BMW convertible allot and it makes me NEED a convertible. lmao.
