Default Exotic cars you've seen, and you know you cant take on... ever.

Today, it was a Nissan Skyline.

I nearly wet my self when I realised what it was. He was in the left hand turn lane I was in the left hand lane. All I saw at first was a long car with a cool spoiler, then I noticed he was in the passenger seat... wait, no... thats a right hand side car.
Oh my, thats the GT-R logo on the side! *faint!*

here in reno we have three skylines, two older models and one r34.
we also have about ten toyota supras rolling around, some of which are extremely modded. but the rairness keeps upping the anty, every once and a while ill find myself pulled alongst a viper and as far as a lamborgini. one of which ive raced on a stretch of freeway, and won. only because at the age the people around here buy these toys they no longer have the balls to drive them for what they are made. except the nissans and the toyos, usually they are drivin by rich guys in there llate twentys-lower thirties and theyll take on anyone who is willing.

Heres my list:

5 Lotus Elise
1 Maybach
4 Bently (One old and 3 Contentail GT's)
8 Ferrari's
1 Rolls Royce

I think thats it, if I can remeber anyothers I post them. If your wondering why I was able to see so many of these cars, part of the reason is that I worked in Laguna Beach as security guard. And another reason is that I live next to very rich people that live in $1 million plus homes.

The most expensive car I ever rode was a Porshce 911. I forgot the year tho, but it was a recent year tho.

ill raise you...
3 nissan skylines 1 of which is an modded r34
2 nissan silvia type-rs, i believe they are brothers
1 lambo guillardo, the one i raced and should have been killed
2 vipers one old one newer
5 acura nsx's 1 of which has been converted to right hand drive and sports a "H"
1 porsch gt2
ive seen a maybach, but i think a casino in tahoe owns it for its vips
about 5-7 of those low msrp ferraris (forgot the model that was the cheapest)
2 lambo contauch, dont know how to spell
havent seen a elise yet you got me there
ummm.....
oh the coolest one i liked was this 2005 or 06 not sure to which year the new vette belongs to, with a twin turbo kit and every other mod a man can dream of. i liked it because ive only got to see a couple of the above close up and this was the best out of those couple, the guy was even nice enough to let me sit in it and give it a few revs.

oh and i almost forgot... a partridge and a pear tree

Thats all you guys have seen?

I see several supras a day. Az is the biggest supra tuning state. I also see vipers almost daily.

In any given week I'll see:
1 ferrari or 1 lambo
1 rolls royce
2 bentlys
3 lotus elise
4 vipers

Cars I've seen in the past:
Several crappy skylines, one really nice one
3 Lamborghini gallardos
Few of the more expensive ferraris
competition viper

and by far the most impressive:
Venom 1000 Twin Turbo SRT Coupe
or
hennessey venom viper.
It goes by alot of names but if my memory serves my right its a stock viper taken by hennessey or venom and made into a twin turbo monster. They usually dyno 970-1010whp. I havn't an idea of what they cost or how to get one cuz there arn't many around. I saw one on the road about a year ago and 1 month later met my gf, whos mom has been dating the owner of it for 5 years.

Most of these cars I didn't even really see in a wealthy part of town. Just slightly above average homes. I would list more if I actually knew what they were...but I dont know my exotic cars well

Couple o weeks ago i saw a FairladyZ which has to be the rarest import I have ever seen. A guy that lives somewhere around here has a Pantera but Im not sure if its a real one or a kit car. If its the real deal some one needs to kick his ass for driving it as a daily driver. Its a museum piece we all should get to "ENJOY".

As for the Elises around, those are pretty exotic looking but price and availablity kind of knock them out of the Exotic catagory, and as far as never taking one on, well thats just a matter of mod money.

Shoot, a guy at work owns a Viper, and my insurance agent has a nice limited production Porshce 911.

I've also seen one Elise (blue) A nice old Aflio Romero, and, if you want classic muscle, a Superbird. That one was pritty, with the over grown wing and everything

superbird huh...
reno = hot august nights = lots and lots of muscle
ive seen plenty of superbirds, including a couple of the limited edition roadrunner, which has the cartoon beep-beep for a horn.
ive seen real, not kitted, shelby cobras.
oh and a new taker this year, since the event just came and went, an tuner oldschool mini cooper, it had 12" rims and special order yokohoma shoes. a dinky engine with a turbo... the thing was bad ass.
as for every other restored vehicle... it gets a bit repetative.

up next...the rib cook off, then my favorite street vibrations, a week of motorcycles and beer.

itll be cool if maybe we could get a zuki meeting during the rib cook off.

and dog you sure it wasnt a rebadged 350Z?

Oh one thing I forgot, the most important.

The old gullwing mercedes, I think its the 300sl from the 50's. Was going up to 80mph a few feet behind one out on the track untill I learned it was the real thing. There is also one down the street from me but I dont know if its real one as it would cost around the price of the guys house. How much are they worth? I wanna say around a million. There were only 1,400 made and 1,100 to the us between 55-57... it became famous from winning the 24hrs of lemans as well. They were 29k new but I dont knwo what currency that is.
