Yup, the "plug and play" generation. I'm guilty of it sometimes too :P

Admitedly the Forenza/Optra doesn't seem like the best car to choose purely for aftermarket and tuning options, but I don't think its a waste of money. When I got mine I knew almost nothing about cars compared to what I know now. I made my decision based mostly on how it looked, price and features (it came with more features and options for less money than others). Finding aftermarket parts has been hard but I don't regret buying it. It's going to take more work, $, and research than a civic to get to where I want, but thats half the fun. The more challenging it is, the more you will enjoy it when its done because of all the effort put out. My first mod was new headlight bulbs and I was soo scared that it was going to void my warranty and that my dealer would notice it when I go for oil change LOL............. now I'm getting full custom turbo installed as I write this............. and the car is still a lease LMAO. In the end I will have something unique that very few people can say they have (at least in Canada / US).
