The guys at the carwash are starting to give me strange looks every time I bring in our mud encased or sand encrusted jimny in for a body wash. Last Sunday, together with 2 other jimnys ("the 3 blind mice") we went off-roading in the dunes of Calatagan. The week before that, we brought our jimny on a week long solo 1400 km trip (Manila- La Union- Ilocos Norte- Ilocos Sur- Pagudpod- Maira Ira- Blue Lagoon- Patapat- Tuguegarao- Baguio- Manila). The small size of the jimny was perfect in squeezing through tight dirt roads/carabao tracks to reach isolated and deserted coves, beaches and abandoned light towers . It's light enough to park near the water's edge and not sink in the sand. Looking forward to bringing our Jimny up to Sagada soon

thanks tom.

I didin't realize how popular the jimnys are in australia and other parts of the world. I understand they have other variations of the jimny like a convertible? They're nice! I hope we see them here in Manila.

i was driving along buendia avenue last saturday. when i stopped, first in line on the stoplight of makati avenue, i was on the left most lane because i am going to rockwell. a jimny, same color was fronting me. he was on the other side of buendia coming from EDSA. he flashed his headlights twice. and that's what i did too. when green light flashed, he flashed his headlights again and so do i. ahehehhee. . . . i just find it cute. ahehehehe . . .

What rim size do you intend to put on? I've been contemplating on widening the tires but I only want 1inch increase in tire diameter so there's no need to change shocks. please post pics after you're done!
